PURPOSE: A method of displaying an alarm in a mobile communication terminal is provided to deliver different characters, animation, and alarming sounds every alarming time when many alarming times are set, thereby easily confirming a present alarming time. CONSTITUTION: A controller stands by(50), and checks whether an alarming time comes(105). If so, the controller checks whether an alarming sound is set(107). If so, the controller reads the alarming sound from an alarming sound storage area of a memory(110). If the alarming sound is not set, the controller checks whether a character is set(115). If so, the controller reads the character from a character storage area(120). If the character is not set, the controller checks whether animation is set(125). If so, the controller reads the animation from an animation storage area(130). If the animation is not set, the controller checks whether an address book is set(135). If so, the controller reads the address book from an address book storage area(140). If the address book is not set, the controller checks whether a schedule is set(145). If so, the controller reads the schedule from a schedule field(150). If the schedule is not set, the controller checks whether a send button is pressed(155). If so, the controller controls a dialing operation(160). The controller maintains the standby state(50).
