PURPOSE: A vehicle network system using a power-line is provided to simplify a wiring, to reduce a weight of a vehicle and production cost, and to detect a trouble of a wire easily by using a power-line as a communication-line instead of an additional communication line in a communication network between vehicle electronic control modules. CONSTITUTION: The first module(51) controls a remote switch(55). The second module(52) controls various devices of an air conditioner. The third module(53) controls an engine related device. A power-line supplies a power source necessary for operating the modules(51,52,53) and is used for a data communication. An internal constitution of each module is described as follows. A central processing unit controls a general operation of a corresponding module and controls a data communication with other module. A memory unit stores a program and data necessary for operating the central processing unit. A power-line communication device converts data to be transmitted to other module into a signal capable of being transmitted through a power-line in the central processing unit, outputs the signal, and converts a receiving signal from other module being inputted from the power-line into a signal capable of being processed in the central processing unit. |
