METHOD FOR PRODUCING CROSSLINKED VINYL RESIN POROUS BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinked vinyl resin porous body. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the porous body a homogenous polymerization solution comprising (a) a vinyl monomer of 3-60 mass%, (b) an organic solvent of 1-80 mass% and (c) a liquefied carbon dioxide or a supercritical carbon dioxide of 96-10 mass% is polymerized in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator and the resulting polymer solution is subjected to a supercritical drying. The porous body having a light transmission of 10% or more at a thickness of 1 mm is provided.
