PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for ultraviolet cross-linkable pressure sensitive adhesive having manifesting a high cohesion and cohesive power by crosslinking caused to an exposure to an ultraviolet irradiation, manifesting a stable physical properties independent from amount of a formulated photopolymerization initiator, and low in emission of a volatile organic material in crosslinking reaction, and provide a pressure sensitive sheet using the composition. SOLUTION: This composition for ultraviolet cross-linkable pressure sensitive adhesive is obtained by formulating (i) a pressure sensitive adhesive principal ingredient, (ii) an ultraviolet cross-linkable resin, and (iii) a photo-polymerization initiator comprising a photo iniferter; and the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet obtained by forming a thin film comprising the composition on a substrate or a peeling sheet and then exposing to an ultraviolet irradiation.
