PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave frequency modulator/demodulator circuit, which can be constituted only of an element which can be integrated with a semiconductor in a microwave band, which is reduced in size and weight of a circuit and in a cost and in which a performance is not deteriorated, even if a frequency is increased. SOLUTION: The microwave frequency modulator/demodulator circuit comprises a 90 deg. power distributing circuit for outputting two signals, which have a phase difference of 90 deg. from each other in the center frequency of an input frequency modulation signal, a mixer for mixing the two signals output from the 90 deg. power distributing circuit, first and second connecting routes for connecting two output terminals of the 90 deg. power distributing circuit to two input terminals of the mixer, and a transmission line connected at one end to the first or second connecting route and short-circuited at other end and having an electric length of 1/4 wavelength of the central frequency of the frequency modulation signal.
