PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding agent for a DNA chip in which a loss of a probe DNA or a sample DNA in a washing step or the like is low and the DAN sample can be effectively applied and which can improve an S/N and to provide the DNA chip and a method for manufacturing the DNA chip. SOLUTION: The binding agent for the DNA chip is represented by a structural formula (I), [where R1 , R2 are each a -NH2 group or an H, and at least any of the R1 and R2 is -NH2 group]. The DNA chip uses the agent.
