PURPOSE: A household utility data management system is provided to securely and definitely collect household utility data on supply of electricity, gas, and service water or on alarm of crime, fire and gas leakage, to manage the collected data and to offer the data to related companies or organizations. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises houses and relay stations(1-1 - 1-4), a PSTN(6), a CATV network(11), a leased line(12), a PLC(Power Line Communication) network(13), the internet(8), an RTIP(Real Time Internet Protocol) network proxy(7), a proxy server(9), and utility service providers(10). The houses and relay stations(1-1 - 1-4) collect all the household utility data on supply of electricity, gas, and service water or on alarm of crime, fire and gas leakage by using sensors. The PSTN(6), the CATV network(11), the leased line(12), the PLC network(13) transmit the collected data to an ADSL internet service provider(2), a CATV internet service provider(3), a leased line internet service provider(4) and a PLC internet service provider(5), respectively. The RTIP network proxy(7) receives the collected data from the internet service providers(2,3,4,5) via the internet(8), and transmits the collected data to the proxy server(9). The proxy server(9) decodes, processes, and stores the collected data, and transmits the processed data to the utility service providers(10). |
