PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake for gear parking of a novel transmission device which can easily attain gear-in parking. SOLUTION: This brake 31 for gear parking of the transmission device arranges in series a fluid joint 4 positioned on an engine side and a friction clutch 5 positioned on a transmission 2 side, a brake mechanism operating at parking time is arranged on an input shaft 3 of the transmission 2. In this way, by regulating rotation of an input shaft 4 of a transmission 2 even in a condition disconnecting the friction clutch 5, the gear-in parking can be made.
