PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure electric current detection accuracy in all electric conductivity areas from a low electric conductivity area up to a high electric conductivity area. SOLUTION: The electrolytic water producing apparatus makes water flow into a electrolytic cell 62, and produces electrolytic water by applying a voltage between the electrodes of a pair of anode 66 and cathode 67 arranged in the electrolytic cell 62 to electrolyze the water. The electrolytic water producing apparatus has a resistance 81 for detecting an electric current passed between a pair of electrodes, and is provided with at least two or more amplifiers having different amplification factors as an amplifier for amplifying a voltage output generated in the resistance 81. A switching means 100 is provided to select the amplifier according to the voltage output generated in resistance 81.
