PURPOSE: A side frame for a vehicle is provided to improve work efficiency in assembling, and to reduce the number of parts and reduce the unit cost of production by making the welded part welded with contacted with the contacted part while a side member and a stiffener maintain regular intervals. CONSTITUTION: A side member(110) forms a contacted part(111) having the upper and lower part bent up toward a side. A stiffener(120) forms welded part(121) bent up toward a side. The upper and lower end of the welded part is welded, with contacted with the inner side of the contacted part of the side member. A notch-type bead(112) is formed to the inner side of the contacted part of the side member. The front end of the welded part of the stiffener is contacted with the notch-type bead. The notch-type bead is a quadrangle type for airtight contact of the welded part. The welded part is contacted with the contacted part and is welded, while the side member and stiffener maintains regular intervals. Therefore, the number of parts is reduced and the unit cost of production is reduced.
