PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that even when both sides of a sheet of size A4 and under are printed, a master of size A3 is used in each of front side printing and rear side printing and, therefore, masters are wasted. SOLUTION: A printing control device 163 controls a printing pressure range switchigg motor 89 of a printing pressure variable means 90B based on a both- side printing mode setting signal from a both-side printing key 154 of an operation panel 150 so as to push the front surface of a sheet 42, before being printed, according to the forming range of a front printing plate image 60a at a formed master of 1st plate on a printing drum 31 against the rear surface of a sheet 42a, after printing of the front surface, according to the forming range of a rear surface printing plate image 60b at the master 21a on the drum 31.
