<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally express the change of weather in virtual space where a character moves. SOLUTION: In a video game, 'fair' can be allocated to an area A and 'cloudy' to an area B. The character on the game moves to the area B from the area A in accordance with the operation of a user. The rate of weighting is changed by taking prescribed time, a weather parameter corresponding to the area A and a weather parameter corresponding to the area B are added and a transient weather parameter is obtained. Thus, the weather of 'fair' (area A) is gradually changed to the weather of 'cloudy' (area B) by using the transient weather parameter. Then, a sky corresponding to them is plotted on a game picture.</p> |
