PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording device reducing the load of the process by omitting the useless detection of the electronic watermark information. SOLUTION: The discrimination is made whether the data to be inputted are ciphered data or not, then, the electronic watermark information can not be detected from the ciphered data, while these data are recorded as they are, and in the case of the data not being ciphered, the electronic watermark information is detected to control the recording of the data in accordance with this detected electronic watermark information. |
