PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an improved crystalline aluminosilicate molding catalyst capable of effectively and efficiently producing triethylenediamine, to provide a method for producing the catalyst and a method for producing triethylenediamine using the catalyst. SOLUTION: The molding catalyst used in the production of triethylenediamine consists essentially of silica and a crystalline aluminosilicate. The silica is amorphous and the silica content is 5-70 wt.%. The molar ratio of silica to alumina in the crystalline aluminosilicate is >=12 and the aluminosilicate content is 30-95 wt.%. The hardness of the catalyst is >=1 kg.
