PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for gathering writing backup data with which backup data can be easily transplanted from an old circuit board to a new circuit board and the cost of a main circuit board can be reduced. SOLUTION: Only by connecting a jig 3 provided with an external storage device 4 to an old circuit board 1A, the backup data inside a main body side storage device 2 of the old circuit board 1A can be transferred to the external storage device 4 with the device for gathering writing backup data and only by connecting the jig 3 provided with the external storage device 4 to a new circuit board 1B, the backup data inside the external storage device 4 can be transferred to a main body side storage device 2 of the new circuit board 1B with the device for gathering writing backup data. Thus the transplantation of the backup data from the old circuit board 1A to the new circuit board 1B is extremely easily executed.
