PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an operation and a dedicated implement for pressing a plurality of divisions to each other against the restoring force of rubber-elastic bodies to pre-compress them when an outer cylinder is pressed in a collar member. SOLUTION: A bush device 12 has a constraining cylinder 30 fitted on the periphery of an outer cylinder 18 to constrain the movement to the periphery of each of a pair of divisions 20 forming the outer cylinder 18 and pre- compressing rubber-elastic bodies 26 in a radially constricting direction. The movement to the periphery of the pair of divisions 20 pre-compressing the rubber-elastic bodies 26 in the radilly constricting direction to a given degree can be constrained without the application of external pressing force to the pair of divisions 20 forming the outer cylinder 18, so that when the outer cylinder is pressed in a member collar 14 of a member bracket 10, the outer cylinder 18 no longer needs pressing in the member collar 14 with such pressure on the pair of divisions 20 as pre-compresses the rubber-elastic bodies in the radially constricting direction to the given degree.
