PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a noise from producing by collision of mutual yarn feeders or a nozzle from deforming, prevent yarn breakage of knitting yarns and improve the operating efficiency by always locating knitting yarns on the preceding side under knitting yarns on the rear advancing side by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This yarn feeder is additionally provided above needle beds in a flat knitting machine equipped with at least a pair of the front and rear needle beds housing knitting needles so that the knitting needles can be advanced, retreated and slid and two or more feeders for feeding the knitting yarns to the needle beds are formed in the feeder body and a pressing down part for the knitting yarns containing 41-100 wt.% of the acrylic staple fibers having 0.3-3.3 dtex single fiber fineness on the preceding side is provided between feeders in the yarn feeder.
