PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized piezoelectric vibrator, which improves impact resistance. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric vibrator provided with exciting electrodes on the front and rear of a piezoelectric substrate and lead electrodes for respectively extending the exciting electrodes to land terminals located at one terminal of a piezoelectric vibrating piece, a notch or groove is provided between two land terminals of the piezoelectric vibrating piece. Therefore, since the extension of a conductive adhesive by pressing when packaging the piezoelectric vibrating piece is stopped when reaching the notch or groove, short-circuiting of exciting electrodes can be effectively prevented even in the configuration of a narrow distance between the land terminals. As a result, the piezoelectric vibrator can be miniaturized.
