PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable color processing corresponding to image characteristics by presenting the preparation environment of a color processing parameter to a user, who does not have a special tool environment, by generating the color processing parameter corresponding to a color space reflected with the contents of image operation to an image. SOLUTION: The image operation of gamma curve, hue and contrast or the like is performed to a read image (step S1). Next, B is successively changed for 16 every time from 0 to 255 after being started from R=G=B=0, next, G is successively changed for 16 every time from 0 to 255 and finally, R is changed for 16 every time from 0 and 255 so that the same processing as the image operation is applied to 4913 patches located to R=G=B=255 (step S2). Namely, the image operation is applied to a patch group and the result is preserved in the form of LUT (step S3).
