SHADING CORRECTION METHOD AND IMAGE PROCESSOR EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shading correction method, in which the unevenness of output can be corrected accurately, regardless of the input level to an image input device. SOLUTION: A first correction coefficient for substantially equalizing the output values from all pixel parts is calculated at each specified pixel parts of an image input device; a second correction coefficient corresponding to the input value at each pixel part at the time of image input is calculated by interpolating the first correction coefficient; and the output value from each pixel part of the image input device is then corrected by the second correction coefficient.
