PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently control an ink ejection not influenced by change of environmental temperature without providing a special memory device in an ink jet printer driven in contact upon printing operation. SOLUTION: An ink jet printer is provided with a pressurizing chamber formed by a vibration plate 34 of which a part can bend outward, a nozzle connecting the pressurizing chamber with the outside, and an electrode 35 arranged in opposition to the vibration plate 34 with a gap G of a predetermined distance. In printing, a driving voltage obtained by addition of a zero voltage to be charged between the vibration plate 34 and the electrode 35 when the contact between the vibration plate 34 and the electrode 35 is detected and a predetermined ejecting voltage is applied between the vibration plate 34 and the electrode 35. |
