PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of remarkably alleviating the influence of an external member while absorbing the magnetic attraction force in its own machine. SOLUTION: A coil unit 32 having a core 33 extended in an axial direction along an inner peripheral surface of a stator 31 and a plurality of coils 37 aligned and arranged in the core is mounted, and a permanent magnet unit 42 is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of a rod 41 inserted and supported reciprocatingly movably in the axial direction by linear bushes 51 mounted at both end sides of the stator 31.
