PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method allowing easy formation of a machining part on a metal member in a short time. SOLUTION: A boss (20) having an insert hole (21) integrally cast with a body portion (10) of a casing 1 and a pre-machined parts (30) having a screw hole (31) of desired data machined inside and comprising a plurality of inclined teeth (33) on the outer circumference are prepared. The radius of a tip circle of an insert is slightly larger than the radius of the insert hole. When the pre- machined parts are placed on the boss and the pressure is applied from an upper part of the pre-machined parts while at least the boss is heated to about 200 deg.C, the pre-machined parts are fitted in the boss while the tooth surface of the insert cuts apart the insert hole. The pre-machined parts are pressed until its upper surface becomes flush with an upper surface of the boss.
