PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposing device preventing garbage from leaking outside an inlet when the garbage is thrown into the inlet arranged to communicate with the garbage disposing tank. SOLUTION: A bottom part 7 of a drain part 5 accumulating garbage on its inside for dewatering is constituted of a plurality of opening/closing plates 20. When a gate 14 is slid and the inlet 15 is opened, a plurality of the opening/ closing plates 20 are turned in the outer circumference direction around a bent part 8 by their own weight respectively. Then, below the inlet 15, the opening/ closing plates 20 open the bottom part 7 on the inside of a passage forming member 17. In this way, garbage can be thrown into the inlet 15 from the opened bottom part 7 without any leakage to the outside of the inlet 15.
