PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission giving a comfortable starting for a multi speed vehicle. SOLUTION: In the transmission for a vehicle having an actuator 303 for shifting speed gears in a gear box unit 302 and a controller 306 to command the actuator to shift the speed gears in the gear box unit, it provides a sensing means 305 to detect a vehicle speed and a sensing means to detect the current engaging speed gear in the geartbox unit. The controller selects a starting gear stage preliminary highly set than the lowest gear ratio at the vehicle starting. |
