PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rescue cabin allowing safe and quick rescue of refugees from the roof of a buildings. SOLUTION: This rescue cabin 1 can be hung and conveyed by means of a helicopter and provided with a chair 16 allowing seating of a plurality of persons, seat belts 17 and oxygen breathing parts 18 arranged in compliance with the chair seating capacity, an oxygen cylinder 35 feeding oxygen to the oxygen breathing parts 18, equipment allowing communication with the outside such as a radio channel dial, a communication microphone 30, and a speaker 31, a limiter sensor 38 measuring a distance to the ground, and a limiter signal arranged in the roof part and displayed with different color illumination in landing so as to inform a pilot on the helicopter in stages with the approach toward the ground along the distance measured by means of the limiter sensor 38.
