PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an elevator capable of carrying out a stable speed control even at the time of discharge control using an inexpensive power accumulation device having a low capacity. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a power accumulation device 11 provided between a converter 2, an inverter 4 and a D.C. bus bar 3; a charge/discharge control circuit 15 for controlling a charge/discharge of the power accumulation device 11; a service interruption detector 22; current measuring device 23 and voltage measuring device 24 for detecting an output current and an output voltage of inverter; a cage load measuring device 25; an encoder 20; a speed control circuit 21A for controlling the inverter 4; and a speed control circuit 21A calculating an output voltage of the inverter 4, determining a dischargeable power of the power accumulation device based on a measured value in the state of a charge/discharge to determine the maximum value of a restriction power given by a sum of the dischargeable power and a restriction power of A.C. power source and changing a speed command based on a comparison of the output power of the inverter 4 and the restriction power maximum value. |
