DIGITAL SATELLITE BROADCASTING RECEIVER WITH ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM FUNCTION FOR ENJOYING VARIOUS ENTERTAINMENTS USING ONE SCREEN

PURPOSE: A digital satellite broadcasting receiver with an entertainment system function for enjoying various entertainments using one screen is provided to be capable of enjoying a game, a data communication, a DVD function, etc while viewing a satellite TV broadcasting program through one screen. CONSTITUTION: A serial communication interface(13) can be communicated with external devices or a settop box. A CPU(9) controls or processes total signals. Editable data are stored in an EEPROM(3), and operational data are stored in an RAM(4). Programs for real operation are stored in a flash memory(5), in which various control programs of the CPU(9) are mapped. An RF module(8) receives infrared ray signals for performing user desired functions transmitted by a remote controller(11). Current time and operating programs are displayed on an FND(6). A front key input(7) outputs key data according to function select and pushing of operational keys.
