PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the design of a microcomputer with the specification of a little terminals is made difficult by respectively requiring a microcomputer power source for supplying power to a microcomputer, a pad for debugging power source to be used at the time of debugging and a terminal for debugging power source to be used for ordinarily operating the microcomputer in the conventional configuration of the microcomputer with packaged debugging function. SOLUTION: Inside a microcomputer chip, the microcomputer power source and the debugging power source are connected by a power source protecting resistor 103. Thus, when the microcomputer is to perform ordinary operation, power can be supplied from the microcomputer power source terminal through the power source protecting resistor 103 to the pad dedicated to debugging so that the terminal for debugging power source can be excluded. Even when a potential difference occurs between respective power sources at the debugging time of the microcomputer, a current to be generated by the power source protecting resistor 103 is suppressed and the destruction of the power source can be prevented.
|
