PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potting method that can be done continuously or semi- continuously with excellent work efficiency by allowing the normal seedling pots formed in a cup shape to fall down into each pot receiver set on the tray and placing them in the state that the pots are fitted to the pot receiver. SOLUTION: A plurality of bottom-having pot receivers are formed on the tray at a certain interval in the longitudinal or transverse direction or in the longitudinal and transverse direction and the arms are arranged to individual positions corresponding to the pot receivers, respectively, so that each lever may come into contact with the inner wall face of the seedling pot and may hold it. Individual seedling pots are allowed to fall down into the pot receiver by releasing the arm holding.
