PURPOSE: A power supply control device of security camera and a method of the same are provided to prevent interruption of photographing operation of a security camera on account of unstable supply power by compensating for unstable supply power and permitting stable supply power with a constant voltage value. CONSTITUTION: A switching unit(18) switches a supply power permitted from a power supply unit(17), and permits it selectively to a power transform unit(16) or to other path. An input voltage detection unit(19) detects a voltage value of the supply power permitted to the switching unit(18). An inner power supply unit(20) performs charging or compensatory discharging of the supply power permitted by the switching operation of the switching unit(18). An output voltage detection unit(21) detects a voltage value discharged with compensation from the inner power supply unit(20). A charging circuit unit(203) charges the supply power permitted to the power transform unit(16) by the switching operation of the switching unit(18) at a charging battery(202). A discharging circuit unit(201) adds a charging voltage of the charging battery(202) to the supply power permitted selectively by the switching operation for compensation and permits a power with a voltage value in an appointed range to the power transform unit(16).
