PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink yielding an excellent ink jet recorded image which realizes at high levels a high resistance to scuffing or ozone resistance and an excellent color developability or transparency, which were conventionally considered to be incompatible with each other, and an ink jet recording process, an ink jet recording device, an ink cartridge, a recording unit and a color material using this ink. SOLUTION: The aqueous ink contains a colored resin dispersed in a liquid medium as a color material. Here, the colored resin is a film-forming resin (preferably a resin having a lowest film-forming temperature of <=35 deg.C) containing a colorant at a unimolecular state. The ink jet recording process, the ink jet recording device, the ink cartridge, the recording unit and the color material use this ink. |
