PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker with a moveable contact device using a clip spring that reduces the spring constant together with the number of component parts, thus facilitating the assembling process at a low cost. SOLUTION: A U-shaped clip spring 35 is used to obtain the contact pressure of the shuntless conductive contact. It has a pair of pressure pieces 35a respectively formed as a U-shape clip at both ends, and the pieces push a pair of conductors 32c to contact the slide contact surface 33c of the moveable contactor 33. The clip base 35b coupling the pressure pieces 35a is held by a movable contactor holder 32. The position of the pressure piece 35a is shifted from the center of the clip base 35b in the direction in which the biasing force of the pressure contact spring 36 is exerted to the shaft 34 of the moveable contactor 33.
