PURPOSE: A communication cable device and a data process method thereof are provided to implement concurrently a data communication function and a mobile phone charging function with one cable by using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) so that it makes a long time data communication possible. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of initializing a USB port(501), initializing a serial port and a modem control terminal(502), determining if a mobile phone model is prepared(503), checking if the input data is a modem data in case that the mobile phone modem is prepared(504), stopping transmission of next modem data in the case the modem data is input(505), reading the modem data(506), transmitting the modem data to the USB port(507), releasing the next modem data(508), checking if the input data is the modem data or the USB data(509), stopping transmission of next USB data in the case the USB data is input(510), reading the USB data(511), transmitting the USB data to the modem port(512), and releasing the next USB data(513).
