PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking evaluation device which can be easily installed or inspected, and which is capable of quantitatively grasping a walking stituation and a degree of recovery. SOLUTION: This walking evaluation device is provided with a distance distribution measuring device 2 to radiate light or ultrasonic waves toward feet of a walking person, and receive reflected light or waves for detecting positions of the right and the left feet, an operation device 5 to operate output of the distance distribution measuring device 2, a display device 5a to display result of operation of the operation device 5, and a memory to store the result of operation.
