PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely lock a blade 4 in the use condition P and in the non-use condition, preventing the blade from rattling. SOLUTION: A storage handle 1 of this knife can be in the close condition R with a lock cover 3 closed and attached to a handle main body 2 and in the open condition with the lock cover 3 opened and detached from the handle main body 2. When a blade 4 is made to project in the use condition P with the lock cover 3 in the close condition R, an operating knob 5 of the blade 4 is locked with a lock part 21 at the head of the lock cover 3 and a lock part 9 at the head of the handle main body 2, preventing the movement of the blade 4. When the blade 4 is retracted in the non-use condition with the lock cover 3 in the close condition R, the operating knob 5 is locked with a lock part 22 at the bottom of the lock cover 3 and a lock part 10 at the bottom of the handle main body 2, preventing the movement of the blade 4. In both cases mentioned above, pressing surfaces 13 and 14 of the operating knob 5 and pressing surfaces 25 and 27 of the lock cover 3 are brought into contact with each other, so that a force W works in the direction of pressing the blade 4 against the inner surface of a storage room 6.
