PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance while enhancing design effect without generating a surface roughness feeling. SOLUTION: A decorative material D is constituted by successively forming an inner pattern layer 2, an ionizing radiation curable resin layer 3 containing a filler F and having recoating properties and partial liquid repelling ink layers 4 which are formed from liquid repelling ink so as to follow the patterns of the inner pattern layer on a substrate 1 and applying the curable resin coating soln. to the entire surfaces of the liquid repelling ink layers to repell the same at the parts of the liquid repelling ink layers to form an uneven transparent resin layer. An ionizing radiation curable resin or a thermosetting resin is pref. used in the transparent resin layer. The liquid repelling ink to be used is prepared by adding a liquid repelling agent to a mixed resin of a melamine alkyd resin and a nitrocellulosic resin used as a binder resin.
