ELASTOPLASTIC TYPE ROTATING VIBRATION CONTROL DAMPER AND VIBRATION CONTROL METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be used in a position in which a rotation displacement of a vibration control connector of a rack type hanging shelf. SOLUTION: This elastoplastic type rotating vibration control damper comprises: a tubular elastoplastic member such as a steel tube; two mounting members fixed to both ends of the tubular elastoplastic member; and a rotation shaft which is passed through an approximate center of the tubular elastoplastic member and whose both ends are supported at intersections with respect to the mounting members. Accompanied with rotation of the two mounting members, this damper absorbs vibration energy due to elastoplastic behavior by a torsion deformation generated in the tubular elastoplastic member. A third rotation shaft fulcrum is provided at least one mounting member at a position spaced in a shaft direction from the mounting member.
