PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding scaffolding base which is simple in assembling and folding processes, free from troubles, capable of assembly and folding by one worker, and capable of saving the labor and improving the safety. SOLUTION: This folding scaffolding base comprises a top frame body 3 with both sides thereof along its longitudinal direction forming rails 2 and 2, and a pair of supporting legs 4 and 4 which are movable in the longitudinal direction of the top frame body 3 along these rails 2 and 2, and support the top frame body 3 at the rails 2 and 2, the top frame body 3 is divided into three portions of a center frame body 7 and outer frame bodies 8 and 8 at both ends along the longitudinal direction, the outer frame bodies 8 and 8 are pivotably supported by the center frame body 7 so as to be folded from the horizontally developed condition in a downwardly suspended manner, a roller 22 to be rolled along the rails 2 and 2 of the top frame body 3 is mounted on both sides of the upper end parts of the support legs 4 and 4, the support legs 4 and 4 support the center frame body 7 by the roller 22 fitted to a rail 2a of the center frame body 7 in approaching to the center, and the outer frame bodies 8 and 8 can be folded with respect to the center frame body 7.
