PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a fuel tank having a simple structure and facilitating the attachment and detachment of the fuel tank in a backhoe having an engine arranged in the rear part of a swivel base rotatable about the vertical axis on a traveling device and the fuel tank arranged on either lateral side in the front of the engine. SOLUTION: A partitioning wall 45 for partitioning an engine arrangement part is provided on the swivel base 22, extending laterally, and a vertical rib 51L is provided extending from the front side of the swivel base 22 to the rear side thereof so as to cross the partitioning wall 45. The fuel tank 10 is fixed by a fixing means 58 in such a manner as to be pressed to the partitioning wall 45 and the vertical rib 51L.
