PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple assembly of a seal member at the seal groove of a cylindrical body and assembly of even a different seal member. SOLUTION: This assembling device is formed such that a plurality of fixing pins 5 are protruded, in arrangement corresponding to the shape of the end face of a cylindrical body A, from the pin support surface 2 of the upper surface of a base plate 1. A seal member B set on the outside of a plurality of the fixing pins 5 is elastically deformed through movement in an internal direction of a force rod 11, and the seal member B is held in an elastically deformed state with the seal member nipped between a lowering holding plate 13 and the pin support surface 2. After the seal groove of the cylindrical body A and the seal member B are registered with each other, the seal member B is restored to a shape by own elasticity through release of the holding plate 13 from nipping. Simultaneously, by moving in an external direction a shape restoring member 18, the deformed part in an external direction of the seal member B is pressed externally and the seal member B is pressed in the seal groove.
