Production of superconductor materials with texturized microstructure using method of zonal fusion, induced by laser

The method is new. Materials of type YBCO, Bi-2212 and Bi-2223 are obtained from ceramics, using the system of zonal fusion by laser, comprising: static growth chamber, with mechanical extensions supporting the system of movement, passage and rotation of axes, and two windows, one of quartz and the other of zinc selenide, permitting passage of corresponding lasers, one of ND:YAG, and the other of CO2. Each laser is focussed on pre-form of two or more various shapes. Pre-forms are held on axes with diverse types of commercial holders of greatly reduced size.
