PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter, a heat pipe cooler therefor, and a heat pipe cooling system therefor excellent in space saving. SOLUTION: A plurality of stacks 6, having a semiconductor element 8 for power and a heat pipe cooler 5 disposed vertically for cooling the semiconductor element 8 for power respectively are arranged and disposed. To prevent the stacks and the heat pipe coolers from causing thermal interference with each other, a shield plate 9 is disposed in the front and rear of the respective stacks 6, and a shield plate 10 is disposed between the respective heat pipe coolers 5. An electrical appliance 7 is disposed under the stack 6, so that space saving is provided for the device.
