PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply draw out a Tatami facing in a necessary length out of a Tatami facing roll without giving damages to the Tatami facing by a method wherein a shaft is inserted into the Tatami facing roll wherein the Tatami facing in a long measurement is rolled up in a roll, and both ends of the shaft are hung on notched parts provided at a roll stand. SOLUTION: A shaft 2, 2 is inserted into the center of a roll wherein a Tatami facing 1 in a long measurement is rolled up in a roll, and both ends of the shaft 2 are hung on notched parts 4 formed at bearing plates provided at both ends of a bottom plate of a roll stand 3, 3. With the Tatami facing 1 drawn out under such a condition, the Tatami facing 1 can be simply drawn out in a necessary length without a forcible strength and without giving damages to the Tatami facing 1. The roll of Tatami facing 1 may be put in a corrugated board box whereon openings are provided at both of right and left sides thereof, and the shaft 2 is inserted through the openings and hung on the notched parts 4 of the roll stand 3. In this case, processes from transportation to taking-out can be executed smoothly while being very convenient.
