<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composting method which eliminates malodors particularly in products relating to a composting method for organic waste. SOLUTION: The organic waste subjected to primary fermentation is subjected to heat treatment by adding carbide and water or steam thereto, then to ventilation. The organic waste is increased in its water content by adding the water or steam thereto and is then heated and is, therefore, good in thermal conductivity, by which the microorganisms in the waste are efficiently killed and the generation of malodorous gases is stopped. In addition, the malodorous gases dissolved in the water may be rapidly vaporized. The malodorous gases are adsorbed to the carbide added to the waste, and further, the malodorous gases are removed outside the system by ventilation, by which the malodorous may be surely removed from the organic waste subjected to the fermentation treatment.</p> |
