PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for connecting an online communication using a graphic interface and a telephone number text are provided to activate a local network by direct communication in an online after searching the register terminals in a user terminal connected with a local network. CONSTITUTION: A storing medium(120) is constructed with telephone numbers within a fixed area, a graphic interface and a telephone number text corresponding to respective telephone numbers. A central control unit(110) is connected with the storing medium and record a program performing a series of operation by the storing medium. A connecting apparatus for a register(140) is connected with the central control unit and capable of being connected with a communication network including the register terminals having a handset. A connecting apparatus for a user(150) is connected with the central control unit and capable of being connected in online by a user terminal having a monitor, a user console, and a handset.
