PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb leakage light of a signal reading laser beam that penetrates a transparent MD cartridge, to prevent irregular reflection of the laser leakage light inside the cartridge, to improve reading accuracy of a disk signal, and also to solve the drawbacks of labor hour and peeling which are the faults of a method by paint application. SOLUTION: A black or green seal 1, having capability of absorbing a laser leakage light beam, is placed on an MD cartridge 2 in matching with its shape. As a result, effects are present absorbing the leakage light of a signal reading laser, preventing irregular reflection of the laser leakage light that generates inside the MD cartridge, and improving accuracy in reading a disk signal. In addition, it eliminates the problems of requiring labor hours or generating peeling, for example, as in the method of applying black or green paint.
