PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously provide additional information such as advertisement regardless of operation contents by a user by receiving a first image to display it on the window of a browser and receiving a second image to display it on the window of a viewer. SOLUTION: Software to be installed in a terminal main body 14 is provided with a communication module 73 and a message viewer 76. A PPP driver 70 generates a data link between an information providing device and itself. A browser 74 communicates with an Internet gateway 22 on the data link. The message viewer 76 also communicates with a message managing device 24 on the data link in the same manner. Thus, additional information (message) such as advertisement is shown on a window that is different from one for a browser. Then, because the display of the additional information is not eliminated even when a user scrolls the display of a terminal, the message can continuously be offered even if the user accesses various sites on the Internet. |
