PURPOSE: A catalyst applying an improved carrier is provided to improve the activation, the selecting degree and the stability of activation of the catalyst used to a dehydration of a saturated hydrocarbon gas less than 5 of carbon. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for dehydration has 0.05-2.0wt% of a platinum in an elementary weight of the final catalyst, 0.05-10.wt% of a tin in the elementary weight of the final catalyst, 0.05-3wt% of an alkali 1 group or a 2 group components in the elementary weight, and 0.0-2.0wt% of a chlorine content as an activating component by applying an aluminum carrier having 0.05-0.5cc/g of a huge pore with its size about 1000A-10microns and 0.01-0.9cc/g of a fine pore having 10-500angstrom of distribution. The composed catalyst has the improving effect of efficiency by severely having the reacting condition for the yielding increase of olefin, has small reduction of efficiency by the repetition of reaction and restoration, and has the strong physical stability.
