Apparatus of simple construction for recording the magnetic band and the microchip of intelligent cards, with no dead time. It consists of a charging reservoir, a magnetic tape recorder, an accumulator, a variable number of microchip recorders, a distributor which actuates certain trap doors, which open to let drop the cards from the accumulator to the distributor and which has a rammer which ensures the proper traction of the cards and an unloading mechanism, where the cards drop into a reservoir once recorded, all of them in the same position, and rejecting those which are defective into a reject box. <IMAGE>
